Spurs Head Coach Sean McVay Is Not Concerned About Playoff Position
Starting either the No. 6 or No. 7 seed, the Los Angeles Rams will travel to start the playoffs.

With one week remaining in the season, the Los Angeles Rams have already secured a postseason place, surprising those who had not predicted them to make it.

In Sunday’s regular-season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, the Rams are choosing to rest several of its players, includ.

ing quarterback Matthew Stafford, receiver Cooper Kupp, and defensive tackle Aaron Donald, knowing that they are in no matter what.

The Rams still have a chance, unlike their opponent who has already secured the #1 seed in the NFC. With a victory over San Francisco, Los Angeles, who presently owns the sixth seed, would ensure that position. But a setback coupled with a victory by the Green Bay Packers would drop the Rams to the seventh seed.

Although the Rams haven’t decided on their seed yet, Sean McVay, their coach, isn’t too worried about where his team will finish.

According to the forecasts, McVay told reporters, “I think they are excellent teams regardless.” There are a few levels to it, and upon closer inspection, we’ve just found that this strategy works best for our group. You want to see men go out and compete, but that’s not how we felt, regardless of whether… I know what may happen.Everything happens, and even if you believe you know, you actually don’t, right?

“After considering everything, it didn’t seem like our team would benefit more from trying to hold onto the sixth spot or knowing that you could finish as the seventh.”

None of the Rams’ three potential opponents—the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Detroit Lions—will be an easy game. They haven’t played the Lions yet, but they have already lost to the Cowboys and Eagles this season. It would be an emotional game, as Matthew Stafford of Los Angeles and Jared Goff of Detroit play against their previous clubs.
