Coveted Running Back is Added by Alabama to the 2024 Class
To the entering class, the Crimson Tide adds a second running back.
Daniel Hill has being courted by the Alabama Crimson Tide for months on end.
One of the top running backs in the Class of 2024, the Meridian, Mississippi native made his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday during the East vs. West All-American game.
“The winning culture they have, the coaching and history they have with running backs. They have shown me unwavering devotion ever since they hired me. It was decided by the family. I choose Alabama because it was the best fit for my family and me,” Hill stated on NBC.
The 4-star running back stands at 5-foot-11, 240-pounds and is considered the No. 15 running back in the class and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Mississippi by 247Sports.
Hill chose the Crimson Tide over Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee. His father, Demetrius Hill, actually played his college football for Mississippi State.
He joins Kevin Riley as the second running back in Alabama’s class and his addition gives the Tide the No. 2 overall class in this cycle.
