One of West Ham United’s top players is completely destroyed by Alan Pardew as he yells, “Come on, come on.”

One West Ham United player received criticism from Alan Pardew for what he did against Manchester City on Saturday.

Alan Pardew discussed West Ham’s weekend loss to Manchester City (3-1) on talkSPORT at 8:57 p.m. on September 17.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been delighted with the first-half performance from hsi team, and fairly satisfied with the second-half as well.

He undoubtedly wouldn’t have liked to see one particular event, though.

And now Pardew has offered his perspective on the matter.

Alan Pardew is blunt in his evaluation of the West Ham star.
The embrace between Lucas Paqueta, a star for the Hammers, and Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, didn’t sit well with the former club’s manager.

When questioned about the Brazilian going out of his way to embrace Pep, Pardew replied:

“I mean, they embraced. Prior to the game, Paqueta approached Pep Guardiola and gave him a hug. When you’re a Hammer, you are unable to do it. Come on, please.

I must admit that I completely concur with Pardew on this.

Paqueta had absolutely no reason to act in the manner he did in front of the cameras before the game.

The 26-year-old should have been totally concentrated on the game and giving his best effort for West Ham at that precise moment. He ought to have done it in private if he was so anxious to embrace the manager of Manchester City.

Moyes would not have been pleased with it, and I don’t blame him in the slightest if he was annoyed by what he witnessed on Saturday.

You simply don’t act in that manner in front of your own supporters when you are a Hammer, and Alan Pardew has hit the nail on the head with regard to what the West Ham midfielder did.

That being said, all will be forgiven as long as he stays committed to our cause from this point on until the end of the season.

Contract negotiations with a 33-year-old starter at West Ham have begun.

According to reports, West Ham United has begun contract negotiations with Michail Antonio.

According to a recent article from Football Insider, the Hammers are anxious to sign the seasoned striker to a new contract with better conditions.

There is hope that a whole new contract can be reached even though Antonio, 33, has just under a year left on his present contract and the London-based club still has the opportunity to trigger another year.

The 33-year-old has continued the season in Saudi Arabia’s capital despite being linked to a lucrative move there earlier in the summer after his exit did not materialize.

And Antonio, who has scored twice in his team’s first five Premier League games, is now firmly David Moyes’ first-choice striker ahead of the disfavored Danny Ings and is expected to be rewarded for his strong play.

Antonio, who joined from Nottingham Forest in 2015, is currently the Irons’ all-time leading scorer with 63 goals in 233 games.
