West Ham’s Edson Alvarez believes the club has a “very special player” on its roster.
Edson Alvarez has told reporters how valuable Mohammed Kudus will be for West Ham United.
West Ham midfielder Edson Alvarez joined from Ajax in the summer, and he was quickly followed by Mohammed Kudus.
The notion of the two reuniting in the claret and blue is really thrilling, and I, for one, cannot wait to see them in action together.
Alvarez clearly adores the 23-year-old, with whom he spent three years at Ajax…
Edson Alvarez holds a strong regard for one West Ham player in particular.
After spending time with Kudus at Ajax, the Mexico international understands what he is all about.
And, according to the Hammers’ official Twitter account, Alvarez told reporters of the Ghana international: “Happy for him, he’s very special.” I believe he only needs a couple of games to prove what he can offer, but the fans will love him because he is unique with the ball.”
I can’t wait to watch Kudus in action for the Hammers – he’s a very unique talent.
The former Ajax man possesses the ability to take this West Ham team to a whole new level.
£38 million for Mohammed Kudus will surely turn out to be a steal for the East London outfit.
And Edson Alvarez’s remarks on his West Ham teammate demonstrate how happy we should all be that the Ghanaian chose to transfer to the London Stadium.

WEST HAM, ACCORDING TO A BBC PUNDIT, HAVE MADE A “BRILLIANT” £30 MILLION TRANSFER DECISION.
In the opinion of BBC Sport analyst Steve Brown, West Ham United’s acquisition of James Ward-Prowse from Southampton during the summer transfer window was a “brilliant” move.
After 20 years, the 28-year-old quit St. Mary’s after the Saints were demoted the previous season. Young Ward-Prowse had joined Southampton and worked his way up to three seasons as the team’s captain. But this August, a £30 million deal from West Ham broke their enduring friendship.
Ward-Prowse moved to east London after playing 410 times for the Saints in all competitions and leaving with 55 goals and 54 assists. Irons boss David Moyes took advantage of Southampton dropping out of the Premier League to sign Ward-Prowse on a four-year contract. Ward-Prowse did not take long to open his account with West Ham, either. He has already provided three assists and one goal in three appearances.
Before passing the ball to Michail Antonio, Ward-Prowse’s corner was met by Nayef Aguerd, who broke the tie against the Blues. Moyes then enjoyed seeing Ward-Prowse score his first West Ham goal against Brighton & Hove Albion to break the scoreless tie as the Irons once again prevailed 3-1.
Kurt Zouma headed in from Ward-Prowse’s corner on his third appearance, demonstrating that he would not relent. On Fright Night against Luton Town, the midfielder made an accurate delivery into the box. Thomas Kaminski, the goalie, had no opportunity to stop Zouma.
Brown believes that Moyes made a ‘great’ transfer from Southampton.
Former Premier League defender Brown thinks Ward-Prowse’s early performances for West Ham under Moyes demonstrate that the club made a “brilliant” acquisition when they acquired him from Southampton. The former Charlton Athletic defender continues by saying that his danger from set pieces is a fantastic addition.
According to Brown, Ward-Prowse is a “brilliant signing,” according to the BBC Sport podcast The Far Post. “He is a great signing for set-pieces alone, and he’s a wonderful football player, too.”
