West Ham United are pushing Chelsea all the way to sign Montpellier starlet Elye Wahi this summer.
According to RMC Sport, West Ham haven’t given up the ghost in the race for Elye Wahi, after Chelsea made the first concrete move to sign him in the summer transfer window.

The East London outfit have already been linked with a move to sign Wahi, 20, this summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class striker, with Gianluca Scamacca set to join Atalanta.

RMC Sport reckon that the Hammers could try to beat the Blues to the signing of the young French forward this summer.

Montpellier allegedly want around £30 million for the 20-year-old hitman.
Described by Transfermarkt as ‘incredible’, Wahi has absolutely everything needed to go on and become a huge star in the game.
He’s absolutely perfect for West Ham’s system, what with his blistering pace, exceptional movement and impressive finishing ability.
On his day, he really is a frightening forward to defend against, and he would offer the Hammers a completely different threat through the middle.
If West Ham manage to beat Chelsea to the signing of Elye Wahi this summer it would be a major statement from the club.
