A new age has begun: 2024 has begun.

On the Gold Coast, a new age is beginning.

Des Hasler, a triple premiership-winning coach who has coached 458 NRL games, will join the Titans in 2024. A five-time grand fin

alist, Hasler spent 20 years as a first-grade mentor for the Manly Sea Eagles and Canterbury Bulldogs.

With the formal unveiling of the 2024 jersey on Friday, Gold Coast also welcomes The Lottery Office as its new major partner for the next two NRL Telstra Premiership seasons. Hasler makes his first public appearance since assuming his new role.

The Lottery Office is excited to join the Gold Coast Titans as the team’s primary partner for 2024 and beyond.

As Gold Coast’s primary partner, The Lottery Office will be featured on the front of the Titans’ NRL playing jersey for the next two seasons, giving Australians an official way to participate in international lotteries. Their support will be evident throughout the club and its programs.

The Gold Coast now has its first premiership-winning coach after it was announced in July that Des Hasler will rejoin the NRL via the Titans. The highly accomplished coach brings two titles and a successful track record to his new team.

“I love coaching, and it’s always exciting to be involved in the NRL,” Hasler revealed to Titans members only during his first week on the team.

“I’ve been active in rugby league for more than 40 years, and I really appreciate the relationship. I get a lot of pleasure from it, and I consider myself fortunate to be engaged with the NRL once more.”

The five-time grand finalist wants to lead the team past the preliminary finals, something no other coach on the Gold Coast has accomplished (either with the Titans or previous franchise incarnations).

Under Karyn Murphy’s leadership, the Titans made history in 2023 by being the first Gold Coast club to advance to a national sporting grand final and earning a spot in the NRLW final following an incredibly successful season.

The team is already focused on returning to Accor Stadium for the 2024 big dance and improving on this year’s performance—lifting the coveted silverware and becoming the first team to bring premiership success to the Gold Coast—after coming up short in a hard-fought match against the defending premiers, Newcastle.
