C.J. FULLER: Possible Seizures; Dead at 22

11:00 AM PT After the RB fell to the ground, Fuller’s brother contacted 911 and informed the dispatcher that it seemed he was suffering a seizure.

Although it’s unclear if Fuller was aware at the time, the caller claimed that he had “passed out”.

In an attempt to assist Fuller, C.J.’s brother and other family members frantically followed the operator’s instructions and pleaded for an ambulance to be dispatched right away.

8:20 A.M. PT According to a very close source, Fuller had visited physical therapy in the final hours of his life to rehabilitate his knee, and it was obvious that something was amiss.

We’ve been informed that around two weeks ago, Fuller injured his ACL during a flag football game, and he underwent surgery to replace the injury late in September.

As part of his recuperation, Fuller attended physical therapy for the first time on Wednesday, October 3, and he got through the entire session without any problems.

We’re informed that upon returning to his house, he “went to the ground” and requested water, obviously sensing something wasn’t right.

After C.J.’s friends and family phoned for an ambulance, he was taken to a local hospital. Soon after, it was declared that he was deceased.

There are murmurs. Fuller’s death was directly related to problems after the knee operation, however we’ve been informed that the exact cause of death is yet unknown.

The coroner told us that a death investigation is in progress when we spoke with them.

7:58 a.m. Pacific Time The Pickens County coroner, with whom we contacted, informed us that while a death investigation is being conducted, “nothing suspicious” had been found.

The university has reported that former Clemson running back C.J. Fuller, a vital member of the squad that won the 2016 national championship, has passed away.

He was only twenty-two.

It’s unknown what caused Fuller to pass away. Information collection is what we’re working on.

Fuller was a gifted and competent back on the field during his 43 games with the Tigers. Fuller had problems off the field as well. In March of last year, he was arrested in South Carolina on suspicion of robbing a person at gunpoint.

The statement from Clemon’s coach Dabo Swinney said, “Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with C.J.’s family.”

“I’ve known C.J. for a very long time, and I watched him grow up from Easley High School to the Easley recreation leagues in South Carolina. I’m pleased of all he did while a Tiger at Clemson, especially the fact that he graduated from the university.”

“This evening, our program’s thoughts and our sincere sympathies are with his family. I hope he finds peace.”

Shaq Lawson, a current Buffalo Bills player and Fuller’s former Clemson teammate, also posted a statement on social media that said, “My brother, I am hurting right now.”

“Someone somebody rouse me from this dream. Tomorrow my brother was scheduled to see me. Till we cross paths again, my love, bruh.”
