Along with the Sea Eagles’ preparations for their trip to Las Vegas, Manly coach Anthony Seibold updates Tom Trbojevic.

Manly’s historic doubleheader trip to Las Vegas to kick off the 2024 NRL season is drawing near, and coach Anthony Seibold is working nonstop to prepare his team for the big event.

The first issue on everyone’s mind this off-season has been about the Sea Eagles’ preparation for their American tour, which begins on March 3 against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, and the fitness of lucky man Tom Trbojevic.

After suffering a severe shoulder injury during an Origin match for NSW, fullback Trbojevic had to face yet another dreadful season due to injuries.

Due to their failure to finish in the top eight in Seibold’s first season as manager, he was only able to make 11 appearances for his club in 2023.

Due to injuries, the 27-year-old hasn’t participated in 20 or more games in a season since 2018. He is one of the greatest players in the league. Actually, Turbo has only appeared 55 times in the previous five years.

Nevertheless, Seibold is certain that his No. 1 will have a fantastic season after surviving the preseason.

“Tommy has trained for the full 12 weeks and participated in the scrimmage against the Dragons last week,” Seibold stated to SEN.

“He won’t play any trials but that’s not because he’s not ready to play.”

Trbojevic is among several players who will miss the Manly Pre-Season Challenge in order to concentrate on playing at their best in Vegas.

Due to individualized training plans, up to ten players—likely Daly Cherry-Evans and Jake Trbojevic—will not compete in the preseason competition.

We have to load the boys up a little bit and then back off and taper it a bit because once we go to Vegas, we lose four or five days of training time.
