ON SIGNING DAY, TIGERS ADD THREE

S.C.’s Clemson University Dani Nielsen, Hannah Clark, and Trinity Webb are the newest members of the Clemson Family, according to head coach Amy Smith.

Smith declared, “We can’t wait to welcome our newest group of Tigers into the Clemson family.” These three are amazing people who will contribute to the growth and development of Clemson Gymnastics in addition to being exceptional athletes and scholars. They are all true Tigers, and we are really appreciative of them for believing in the mission of Clemson Gymnastics long before we had many tangibles to display. We can’t wait for them to visit Tiger Town and promote Clemson Gymnastics!

Trinity Webb is scheduled to arrive in Tiger Town in January 2024 and join the Tigers the following semester. The Smithville, Missouri, native qualified for the national competition four times with Fuzion Gymnastics and placed fourth on the bars in the 2022 competition. She achieved her greatest bars score of 9.900 at the 2023 Cupid Classic, earning her a berth on the level 10 America’s Top 100. Additionally, Webb is the Missouri State Champion for Level 10, 15-year Division in 2022. At Smithville High School, Webb won four academic awards before entering the mat. She has three sisters and is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Webb.

“I choose Clemson because I felt at home as soon as I arrived on campus. It’s an incredible experience to be a part of something so unique! The girls on the squad and the coaches have been nothing but gracious and encouraging, making me feel very welcome. This year, I can’t wait to write history! Go, Tigers!

Hannah Clark will be a member of the Tigers starting in 2024–25. With Azarian U.S. Gymnastics Training Center, the Huntington Beach, California native competed and won the Level 10 National Championship on beam in 2021. Clark has achieved a position in America’s Top 100 for level 8, level 9, and level 10 throughout her career. Since 2019, she has competed as a level 10 gymnast. Clark has led the team twice, won the MVP award in 2022 and the Gymnast of the Year award in 2023, and finished second nationally on beam. Throughout his four years at Mater Dei High School, Clark has received academic awards. Her mother, Susan, cheered at Buffalo State, and her father, Ed, played collegiate baseball at UC Irvine.

“I choose Clemson because I felt at home as soon as I arrived on campus. Not only are the sports and academics outstanding, but the campus life and culture are also extraordinary. There is an amazing amount of support for athletics. Finally, the squad and the coaches are all I could have ever imagined. Tigers, let’s go make history!
