Three players are signed by the Sea Eagles, and club international

Three excellent young players have joined Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, strengthening their playing ranks for the upcoming season, along with the extension of a current club international.

Luke Brooks, a half-back, has signed a four-year contract with the Sea Eagles. Tommy Talau, a center, has signed a three-year contract.

More fantastic news: starting at the end of the 2024 season, the Club has agreed to extend the contract of talented young Tongan international Tolu Koula for an additional three years.

28-year-old Brooks is a seasoned and well-respected half-back who has scored 43 tries since making his NRL debut in 2013 with the Wests Tigers.

“Luke is a talented half-back who brings over 200 games of experience to our club. He was named the 2018 Dally M half-back of the year,” Manly Coach Anthony Seibold said.

“He is an excellent football runner and has a great left foot kicking skill.

“We believe he will complement the spine players our club already has.”

Paulo, 23, spent time with South Sydney and the Sydney Roosters before scoring 25 tries in 54 NRL games.

Paulo, a talented and quick teenage winger, represented South Sydney in the 2021 Grand Final. In tests, he has also represented Samoa.

“Jaxson has with him more than 50 NRL games of experience. At the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs, he was part of extremely strong systems, according to Seibold.

His NRL Grand Final appearance in 2021 was his finest year. What I found appealing about him that year was his performance’s steadiness.

“He has had a great start to the Roosters season, and we believe he still has his best football ahead of him.”

Talau, 23, made his NRL debut against Manly in 2019 and has since scored 19 tries in 44 games for the Wests Tigers.

I’ve been following Tommy intently for a while now. He joined the Tigers as an 18-year-old, but missing the entire 2022 season has somewhat limited him, Seibold continued.

“I believe he has demonstrated his aggressiveness this year. While he is a strong player, he also has excellent talent.

Since our goal as a team is to develop regular performances, Jaxson and Tommy give us competition for positions.

“We want competition for positions, and they improve the caliber of our outside backs already.”

Because of the significant impact the 20-year-old center has made since making his NRL debut for Manly last year, Seibold stated that Koula deserved a contract extension.

Over the past 18 months, Tolu has shown to be a true discovery for our team, Seibold continued.
