The Early Signing Period has finally arrived as prospects in the 2024 class around the country plan to sign their letters of intent throughout the next couple of days. Head coach Mike Norvell and his staff are looking to hold onto a top class while adding a few extra pieces to the puzzle in the process.
Florida State enters Wednesday with 23 verbal commitments. All of those prospects are expected to sign during the Early Signing Period even though some members of the class won’t enroll until the summer. With that being said, four-star defensive end Armondo Blount is expected to flip to Miami after visiting the Hurricanes over the Seminoles last weekend.
247Sports ranks FSU’s recruiting class as the fourth best in the nation. Depending on how the choices with targets like three-star defensive tackle D’Nas White, five-star defensive end LJ McCray, and five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith turn out, the Seminoles may finish in the top three or perhaps higher.
