DEC 10 INJURED BLANKENSHIP After being forced to leave the Philadelphia Eagles’ game against the Dallas Cowboys in the first half on Sunday night, the team disclosed that safety Reed Blankenship is being assessed for a concussion.
He has now been ruled out of the game by the team.
This season, Blankenship has struggled with injuries, most notably a serious rib problem early in the campaign.
December 8th, Ellis to England Christian Elliss, a linebacker, was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, but he has already found a new home.
Just hours before the New England Patriots pulled off an unexpected 21-18 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, Elliss was added to head coach Bill Belichick’s defense when the team claimed him off waivers on Thursday. Elliss did not play, of course, but when the Patriots play the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15, he may play for the first time.
Elliss was attempted to be claimed by numerous other teams, according to Field Yates of ESPN.
