Injury Report for the New York Giants: Dexter Lawrence Is Still Limited
After being absent from the previous game, Dexter Lawrence is hoping to play on Monday night.
Dexter Lawrence, a defensive lineman for the New York Giants, was only partially involved in Friday’s team practice due to a hamstring injury.
Lawrence, who was listed as limited on the team’s Thursday report—the players were off—is hoping to make a comeback to the starting lineup after suffering an injury two weeks ago that kept him out of the first game of his career. Earlier this week, the Giants defensive co-captain informed reporters that his injury was getting better and he hoped to return to action.
Defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson (hamstring) and inside linebacker Isaiah Simmons (ankle) were also limited on Friday. Offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle) didn’t practice and is unlikely to play Monday night against the Packers.
Inside linebacker Carter Coughlin (hip) and quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) were full participants. Taylor is expected to be activated off IR before Monday’s game
tense conclusion An illness note for Daniel Bellinger was added to the injury report. On Friday, he was noted as not having participated.
