Snooker star performs incredible trick shot during ‘escape of the season’ at English Open
The English Open was the site of a spectacular trick shot billed as the snooker season’s escape.

Snooker star Louis Heathcote made the ‘escape of the season’ at the English Open during his victory over Thor Chuan at the Brentwood Centre. Having been tied at 1-1, Heathcote was snookered and looked in a position of serious worry with the match in the balance, before pulling off a sensational escape that has been lauded on social media.

Chaun had left the cue ball on the top cushion, with the brown sandwiched between the white and the only remaining left on the table. However, after two failed attempts the 26-year-old British star sensationally wriggled out of the snooker by hitting the bottom cushion at the perfect angle, coming off the left cushion and nudging the ref.
