Kenny Michalopoulos, team physiotherapist, delivers an update on the club’s most recent injuries.
Some of our players returned from injuries successfully this weekend. Adam Doueihi (NRL – knee), James Roberts (NSW Cup – back), and Lomi Saukuru (Jersey Flegg – shoulder) all returned after lengthy absences.
Starford To’a was unable to finish the game due to a left ankle strain. He has been fitted with a cam boot to help his ankle heal, but he should be available for selection against the Warriors in Round 16.
Unfortunately, Alex Twal got a concussion and was unable to return to the game. He had recovered well by the end of the game, but he will now follow concussion procedures and be evaluated by a specialist to determine his future course of action.
Stefano Utoikamanu is making excellent progress in his recuperation. He will resume full training this week and will be available for selection in Round 16 against the Warriors.
