Rangers have announced the departure of five senior players.
According to sources, Scottish Premiership giant Rangers are preparing to lose up to five senior players this summer. This summer, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent will depart. According to reports, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, and Filip Helander will also leave when their contracts end.
Injured footballer Steve Davis, whose contract is also scheduled to expire, was in talks with management about staying and working with the club’s medical experts to improve his fitness.
During Wednesday’s home encounter against Hearts, Rangers will pay tribute to the quintet of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, and Filip Helander.

Alfredo Morelos joined Rangers in 2017 from HJK Helsinki and is the club’s leading European goal scorer.
Ryan Kent came on loan from Liverpool during the 2018-19 season and was instrumental in the club’s title win in 2021.
Scott Arfield joined Rangers in 2018 and has appeared in over 230 games. Former manager and Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard signed Filip Helander from Bologna.
