Dr. Rajpal Brar, a specialist in injuries, is a welcome addition to our exclusive writer lineup. He will offer his opinions on Aston Villa’s injury status every week.

Jacob Ramsey, an offensive midfielder for Aston Villa, could play against Legia Warsaw after recovering from an injury, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.

On Thursday, September 21, Legia will visit the Polish Army Stadium to face Unai Emery’s team in a UEFA Europa League group stage matchup.

The 22-year-old, according to the injury expert, has cleared most of the hurdles and should be eligible to play again for the first team.

Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and doctor of physical therapy, spoke to Villa News about his injury and lack of match readiness.

“I wouldn’t expect him to have lighter sessions if he’s already been able to go through them without any concerns,” I said. “It sounds like he has cleared the majority of markers to get back to training.

After missing multiple games, there’s a decent chance he’s now in the running to play for Villa.

He has been out with an ankle injury, but he has exercised with the group for almost a week, so that shows he is making progress.

Although he won’t likely be included in the starting lineup, Emery will undoubtedly be happy to have him back on the field with the first team.

Due to his obligations in Europe, he will feel the need to rotate his team more frequently, and Ramsey’s versatility may allow him to serve as a substitute for a variety of players.
