Ramsey isn’t the first player to leave the field this week; Leon Bailey left the game against Everton with what appeared to be a thigh strain.
Emery was unsure of the depth of the problem, but he did say the 30th-minute substitute was due to an injury. The Spaniard admitted that it had a negative impact on the tie’s momentum.
Meanwhile, Emiliano Buendia and Tyrone Mings are still out with long-term knee problems, while Alex Moreno is nearing a return from a hamstring injury.
