West Ham New Boy’s Agents Were Confident Hammers Technical Director Would Impress Star

According to The Athletic, Mohammed Kudus’ reps were certain that West Ham United technical director Tim Steidten would impress the midfielder.

After a quiet start to the summer transfer season, the Irons boosted their team with many eye-catching arrivals, including Kudus.

Kudus was highly sought after, but it was West Ham who eventually struck a deal with Ajax and signed him.
The Hammers finalized a €45 million fee with the Dutch giants for the Ghana international, and Kudus signed a five-year contract extension option with the club.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Brighton were all interested in Kudus, but he chose to join the Hammers.

Chelsea were the frontrunners for the Ghanaian’s signature, but the Blues were preoccupied with completing the deals for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

Representatives for Kudus and Ajax got dissatisfied with the process and prioritized West Ham.
Representatives for the midfielder were certain that Hammers technical director Steidten would impress Kudus during negotiations.

And Steidten was successful in convincing Kudus to join and closing the agreement.

David Moyes will now try to make the most of Kudus in the following years.
