As of April 14, 2025, four-star running back Javian Osborne has now committed to the University of Michigan. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect from Forney, Texas, is considered the No. 69 overall player and the fifth-ranked running back in the 2026 class by 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
In January 2025, Osborne announced his top ten schools, which include Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Florida State, and SMU. He has expressed strong interest in Michigan, referring to the Wolverines as his “top school” in December 2024.
Osborne has scheduled official visits to several programs, with Michigan’s visit set for June 20-22, 2025. This timing positions Michigan favorably in his recruitment, especially following the commitment of five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood to the Wolverines in November 2024.
While Osborne has not made a commitment, recent developments suggest that Michigan is a strong contender in his recruitment. However, until he announces his decision, no commitment has been made.
