Adou Thiero signs with Razorbacks
Thiero becomes the fifth player to follow Coach Calipari from Lexington to Fayetteville.
John Calipari’s first Razorback roster is filling up as he landed another big-time player from the transfer portal in former Kentucky Wildcat Adou Thiero.
According to ESPN, the 6-foot-8 forward is a projected first-round NBA Draft pick in 2025. As a sophomore at Kentucky, Thiero played in 25 games while making 19 starts. He averaged 7.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game.
Thiero spent two seasons playing under Coach Cal in Lexington and became the fifth player to follow him to Fayetteville joining former teammate Zvonimir Ivišić and incoming freshman Boogie Fland, Karter Knox and Billy Richmond. Calipari’s 2024 signing class is also highlighted by the additions of veteran guard Johnell Davis from Florida Atlantic and SEC big man Jonas Aidoo from Tennessee.
