Jordan Riki renounces his allegiance to the Broncos and renews his contract for three years.
Jordan Riki has reaffirmed his commitment to the Brisbane Broncos, turning his back on rival NRL teams once more.
The 23-year-old has extended his contract with Red Hill for a further three years, keeping him there until the 2027 campaign.
Kevin Walters, the coach of the Broncos, praised the outstanding backrower for his lifelong devotion to the team.
In a statement, he stated, “Jordan bought into what we are building here at the Broncos from the very beginning.”
“It is wonderful news for us here at the club that he has once again opted to stay at the club he loves. He was one of the first players to commit to stay even when things weren’t going so well.
“Jordan continues to work hard on his game, he does the little things really well and he wants to play his role for the team – and that’s exactly the kind of player we want in the Broncos jersey.”
Following colleague Brendan Piakura’s Thursday signing through to 2027, Riki becomes the second player to re-sign with the Broncos in as many days.
The Broncos have signed players through at least 2025, including Piakura, Riki, Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan, Reece Walsh, Kotoni Staggs, Selwyn Cobbo, Kobe Hetherington, Jesse Arthars, Corey Jensen, Deine Mariner, Xavier Willison, Tristan Sailor, and Blake Mozer.
Ezra Mam, a star of the grand final, is still a target for the club, while captain Adam Reynolds is reportedly close to signing a one-year contract extension.

With another significant signing announcement on Friday that secured the best playmaking talent in Queensland, the Broncos are gradually rebuilding their image in the recruiting process.
After an outstanding year in the Queensland Cup, where he was crowned rookie of the year, Brisbane has announced that rookie halfback Ezra Mam has been promoted to the club’s senior side.
The 19-year-old has now extended his contract with the team until the end of the 2024 campaign. Ben Ikin, the head of Brisbane’s football department, has publicly praised the speedster as Adam Reynolds’ long-term replacement. Reynolds signed a three-year contract this year to join the Broncos and leave the Rabbitohs.
