After seeing an explicit video purportedly featuring star running back Jarquez Hunter, Auburn suspends players indefinitely.

The Auburn Tigers’ Hugh Freeze Era is already off to a difficult start.

Freeze was brought in by the Tigers to tidy up the mess left by Bryan Harsin’s hiring and his disastrously brief coaching tenure.

However, Freeze has his own baggage from the past. Even before he could oversee his first Tigers game, he had already witnessed many players be punished.

Unknown numbers of student athletes were given bans for their alleged involvement in a video that purports to show junior running back Jarquez Hunter participating in sexual actions.

The university was in charge of imposing the sanctions, not the sports department.

Issues arose in the last 48 hours, when multiple videos made the rounds on social media that allegedly showed Hunter engaged in sexual activities.

Auburn declared, “We take this matter very seriously and are aware of the situation.” The relevant offices are carrying out an exhaustive examination. Auburn Athletics department rules violations have resulted in indefinite sanctions. At this point, no more remarks will be made.

According to Trey Wallace of OutKick, the institution was unable to make the identities of the suspended students public.

The video, which was shared on a since-locked Twitter account, featured an unnamed female being sexually assaulted by someone on camera. The issue and the manner in which these recordings ended up on social media are presently being looked into by the school. Whether each party was aware that they were being videotaped is unknown at this time.

Late Friday night, the account that was tweeting the videos turned private. The account holder mentioned on Twitter that you could pay them $5 to watch the video. There may be additional problems as a result for all parties concerned.
