Potential Raiders Draft Pick: LB Trotter Jeremiah Jr.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. of Clemson, one of the top linebacker prospects available in the 2024 NFL Draft, might be added by the Las Vegas Raiders.

INDIA PHILIPS, IN In less than two months, the Las Vegas Raiders will be able to choose which players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft best suit their needs.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the Raiders spoke with a number of draft prospects in an attempt to find players who may potentially win them a title.

Although Las Vegas’ linebackers performed admirably last season, they may still attempt to add talent to that position through the draft. The Raiders may uncover some good players on the second day, even if there are probably no first-round prospects available at inside linebacker.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr. of Clemson may be one of those players. Perhaps the finest linebacker prospect in the draft class is Junior Trotter, the son of veteran NFL linebacker Jeremiah Trotter.

Trotter informed me that he hasn’t yet had a meeting with the Raiders as of the Scouting Combine. He did, however, express his enjoyment at the prospect of joining the Silver and Black.

He declared, “They’re a fantastic organization.” “To be honest, it would be a blessing to play for them or any other team. I’m grateful for the chance to be here and recognize that God has gifted me with the ability to play for the team that selects me.

Trotter recorded 192 total tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, four interceptions, and 13 sacks during his tenure with the Tigers. In 2022, he was selected to the First Team All-ACC and the Second Team All-American.

He declared, “I have a lot of potential as a three-down linebacker.” “There are a lot of linebackers in this draft class that I tip my hat off to because they’re great linebackers and great players, guys I also watch and really respect their games,” the versatile and talented player said.

At six feet tall and 230 pounds, Trotter is a little undersized for an inside linebacker, but he has the weight to be a viable blitzer. He possesses some of the strongest coverage abilities of any linebacker in the class and thrives when going after the quarterback.
