Anthony Schwartz, a former Auburn wide receiver, joins the Miami Dolphins practice squad.
With the addition of Anthony Schwartz to the Dolphins practice squad, there’s more speed in Miami.
Anthony Schwartz, a former wide receiver from Auburn, spent several years with the Cleveland Browns before the organization eventually let him go earlier this year.
Schwartz just joined the Miami Dolphins practice squad, giving the league’s quickest team even more speed.
The Dolphins have Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill as wide receivers in addition to Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane as running backs.
Some of the quickest players in the NFL are these men, and they all play for the same club.
Head coach Mike McDaniel enjoys managing his football club in this manner, and Schwartz’s addition only serves to accelerate the quickest squad in the league.
The Browns selected Schwartz with the 91st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but things didn’t work out there.
The former Auburn Tiger will have another opportunity to establish himself in the NFL now that the Dolphins have called.
One might argue that Schwartz is the Dolphins’ quickest player, which speaks something about him. If this is the case, McDaniel must figure out how to take use of his speed.
We can only hope that Schwartz will eventually be added to the active roster and return to an NFL field.
If Schwartz makes this move, only time will tell, but he is in a great position to make the most of his skill set.
