We regret to inform you that we will never play for the Auburn Tigers again.
Stock Risers from Brooklyn’s victory over Auburn Basketball
Following Auburn’s victory over Notre Dame, these athletes are on the rise.
Thursday night’s game started out with the Tigers taking a dominating lead. Auburn outmatched Notre Dame, but the Irish staged a furious rally late in the first half to narrow the margin to six points. Auburn went on an 11-0 run to take the lead early in the second half and never looked back. Auburn’s Legends Classic opening game at Barclays Center went smoothly. These are the top three stock rises of the evening.
Broome is one of the best rebounders in college basketball, which is not insignificant. He received a lot of praise from prominent college basketball personalities prior to the season, and he is beginning to live up to their expectations. Broome looked like a man among the lads, as he frequently did. He is professional, polished, and determined. Auburn is lucky that he came back this year.
When he was 15 years old, the rookie phenom and Broome shared the top scorer title in Auburn. Holloway appears to have won the starting spot over Tre Donaldson, who had a great night as well. To tell the truth. Holloway is stunning in the picture. I feel obligated to utilize the current proverb now even if I haven’t used it in writing or speaking yet. It’s Aden Holloway. He received a three out of five. It is unbelievable how quickly Holloway’s stock is rising. He may be an Auburn Tiger in the NBA someday.
The Auburn team itself is the last stock riser. Though Tre Donaldson, Chris Moore, and Jaylin Williams all had excellent performances on Thursday night, the team stood out. For the most of their first game against a formidable Baylor club, the Tigers led before falling short. At first look, the surveys’ lack of regard for the program may raise some red flags. I was reassured Thursday night that I didn’t need to worry. Auburn does have a squad that can contend for titles. I think this club has improved from a year ago, and they are deserving of a berth in the top 25.
This Auburn team passes the sight test. The Tigers have surpassed their last two opponents despite the fact that the season is still early and have displayed the type of potential that fans have been hoping for. Auburn will try to win the Legends Classic against St. Bonaventure on Friday night.
