Despite his incredible triple-double on Saturday night, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets was unable to help his team defeat the Sacramento Kings.

When asked about what it takes to slow down the Nuggets, Kings star De’Aaron Fox had some kind words for the superstar big man after Denver’s hard loss in Sacramento.

Jokic is a two-time MVP for a reason, Fox stated, according to NBC Sports California. He was the MVP of the Finals and the champion for a reason. One man won’t be enough to stop him; it may not even be possible to stop him with the entire team. Despite the efforts of many to turn him into a scorer, he manages to engage guys. He gives passes to guys who are open. All you desire is to ensure that other guys don’t really start it, as with that team it’s essentially a “pick your poison” situation. Because of his size and ability to score on all three levels, you should try to limit as much of his playmaking as possible. When he enters attack mode and attempts to score, there aren’t many options available to you.”

NBA player Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets leads the league in three key categories.
Fox’s commendation is entirely justified. Jokic has demonstrated over the years that he is among the NBA’s best players, if not the best.

He finished the game in Sacramento on Saturday with an incredible triple-double. Against the Kings, he recorded 36 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists.

Games like this are no fluke. In fact, Jokic leads the NBA in total points, total rebounds, and total assists as of Dec. 4, 2023.

With averages of 29.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game, The Joker is putting together another MVP-level campaign.
