The Denver Nuggets have signed two new players.
Two new players have signed training camp contracts with the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets announced two new training camp contracts with Andrew Funk and Armaan Franklin on Tuesday night. Along with announcing the signings, the team released information about the two players who will train with the reigning champions.

 

The following was stated in Denver’s press release about Franklin:

Franklin, 6-4, 195, appeared in 121 career collegiate games (95 starts) for Indiana and Virginia, averaging 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.6 minutes. As a senior for the University of Virginia he averaged 12.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists and was named to the ACC All-Tournament Second Team. Franklin went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft and most recently played two games for the Nuggets at Las Vegas Summer League, posting 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.1 minutes.”

The group also released the following statement regarding Funk:

Funk, who stands 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 188 pounds, attended Bucknell University for four years before playing his final year at Penn State in 2022–2023. He averaged 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and.412 shooting from beyond the arc in 37 games (all starts) as a senior at Penn State, earning him the title of All-Big Ten Honorable mention from coaches and the media. In addition to playing for the Nuggets Las Vegas Summer League team, Funk was not selected in the 2023 NBA Draft. During his four games, Funk averaged 5.3 points, 1.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 11.1 minutes.
