Brutally Honest About Nuggets’ Defense Is Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic is aware of the Denver Nuggets’ recent difficulties.
The Denver Nuggets have lost three out of their last four games and have not looked anywhere near like the dominant team they were to start the season. While it’s clear that missing Jamal Murray doesn’t help, Nikola Jokic believes it’s something else – the team defense.
Jokic spoke to the media this week, where he gave a brutally honest answer about the Nuggets’ team defense.
“Maybe play a little bit better, get open shots,” Jokic said. “I think we have been playing a little bit stagnant right now. Maybe a little more movement in defense. Our defense is really bad right now.”
