- Mitchell Moses, the star of the Parramatta Eels, has revealed he has only changed his daughter’s diaper once since her birth in September, leaving moms all over Australia shaking their heads in dismay.
Moses, 28, admitted to Triple M’s Ryan Girdler that he hasn’t exactly been hands-on when it comes to the change table at home. Moses is slated to miss the remainder of the NRL season due to a fractured cheekbone.

‘I did one when she [Aspyn] was born, because the nurse pretty much made me do it.
‘I felt like I pretty much had to, but that was the only time.’
The halfback also admitted he is ‘very lucky’ to have a tolerant partner in Bri Gardoni.

Mitchell Moses, a star for the Parramatta Eels, disclosed that since his daughter’s birth in September of last year, he has only changed her diaper once.
Moses, 28, said he only changed his daughter’s nappy because the nurse at the hospital ‘made me do it’ soon after she was born
Even if it meant losing the game that needed to be won, coach Brad Arthur instructed his top playmaker to go home for the delivery.
“Why are you in this place?” Arthur yelled, “Get out of here,” at the moment.
Moses, however, claimed he had to see his child’s birth via Facetime because he couldn’t let his teammates down.
“I just said, ‘I can’t leave,'” to Arthur as I stared at him. Moses remarked, “Considering how hard we’ve worked all year, I can’t leave these boys.”
It makes sense that Moses’ focus on the team initially annoyed new mother Gardoni.
Moses recounted, “When she was first put in, she was a little bit dirty and said this is how it’s going to happen.”
But she recognized. She has always been there for me.
