Magic Johnson Sends A Message To Commanders Fans After Big Win

The Washington Commanders are entering a new era, and the supporters are aware of it.
The results have yet to be seen on the field, as Ron Rivera’s club has alternated victories and defeats, but they have shown signs of promise more often than not.

That’s why fans opted to travel to Atlanta to support their team when they faced the Falcons, and they even flooded Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Magic Johnson, the new team owner, turned to Twitter to express his gratitude to the fans who went out of their way to support their team in a hostile environment, claiming that they had more fans than the Falcons at their own stadium.

The Commanders stole a much-needed victory over a beatable opponent.

While Arthur Smith’s side squandered numerous chances to tie the score late in the game, they were able to maintain their ground, force errors, and make them work hard for every yard near the end zone.

At times, Sam Howell has looked good, and the Commanders have some intriguing components to build around.

They are now 3-3 and third in the NFC East, trailing the Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) and Dallas Cowboys (3-2).

Rivera’s club is attempting to make a playoff run, and while it will not be easy, having their fans out there to support them can make a major difference, especially on the road.

Their next opportunity will come next Sunday, when they meet the New York Giants in a must-win divisional game at MetLife Stadium.
