An injury specialist discusses whether Dele Alli will play against Liverpool against Everton after groin surgery.
After having groin surgery, Everton attacker Dele Alli is expected to miss the match against Liverpool and will also miss the match against Arsenal, according to Ben Dinnery.

The injury expert has suggested a potential return date of October 21 and claims that he will be sidelined for more than a month.

The England international is anticipated to be eligible for selection when the Toffees go to Anfield.

“Bamidele Alli – Groin Surgery #EFC Expected Return: 21-10-2023,” Dinnery said on Twitter. Status: Disqualified.

Derby comeback?

Given how difficult it has been for Alli, to say that the past few years have been interesting would be a grave understatement.

In an effort to regain his place on the squad, he has spoken out about his injuries, childhood trauma, and mental health problems.

The Toffees would not have wanted his loan stint last season to not have gone as well as many had anticipated.

But there’s every chance that this could be the English attacker’s comeback season if Sean Dyche is pleased with what he’s seeing from him in practice.

It all comes down to utilizing Alli’s devastating potential, which he has previously demonstrated, in order to bring out the best in him.

If deployed effectively this season, the former Tottenham Hotspur forward, who can play different offensive positions, might be a valuable asset.

Beto states that Everton attempted to sign him in January before his arrival at Goodison Park in the summer.
Before he finally came from Udinese last month, Beto has confirmed that Everton had tried to sign him in January but had been unsuccessful.

The Portuguese striker signed a four-year deal with Goodison Park on August 29 for a starting price of £30 million [BBC Sport].

Beto chose to move to Merseyside seven months after Everton tried unsuccessfully to sign him earlier in the year, despite their earlier interest.

Everton

The official website of his new team received his statement, “Everton is a historical club,” on September 20.

“A huge, enormous club in the Premier League. They are well-liked and have a huge history. This decision was simple to make.

Additionally, when a club like this makes an attempt to purchase in January and then returns in the summer, you think, “Okay, they really want me.

That also helped me make my selection more easily.

Second time’s a charm

A “important, huge bid” had been put up for Beto, according to Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino, who also claimed at the time that it was coming from Everton.

The Toffees certainly knew what they wanted because their interest persisted through the summer before a transaction was finally completed toward the end of the transfer window.

In his first three games for the team, Beto has made an impression on the crowd and has scored once.

The fan base is hopeful that the 25-year-old can repeat his achievements of the previous two seasons by scoring double digits in league goals. He has something about him.

If he succeeds, it will lift a tremendous burden off his attack partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin and go a long way toward helping Everton avoid the relegation zone.

As evidenced by this transaction, if at first you don’t succeed, try again.
