After the transfer window closed, two ex-Blackburn Rovers players and 30 other free agents were available.
While the summer transfer market is now closed, free agents are still available to Championship clubs looking to enhance their ranks.
The transfer window may have closed last Friday, but that doesn’t mean clubs can’t do business.
The free agency market remains an option for both Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End. There is no immediate deadline for teams to offer contracts to non-contracted players, with the fourth Thursday in March serving as the final day for unregistered players to find a new home.
On deadline day, Rovers considered adding another wide receiver to their roster, but the trade fell through. Similarly, Preston North End chose to stay with what they had at left-wing-back rather than look elsewhere.
But are there any appealing offers still looking for a home? Here is a list of 32 players that are currently without a club.

Blackburn Rovers boss Tomasson on Semir Telalovic signing
Jon Dahl Tomasson knows it can be tough to adjust to Championship football – but hopes new signing Semir Telalovic can be a long-term success at Rovers.
The 23-year-old forward arrived from Borussia Monchengladbach on Deadline Day, putting pen to paper over a three-year deal at Ewood Park. Telalovic’s arrival bolsters Rovers’ attacking options following the departures of Ben Brereton and Bradley Dack earlier this summer. He scored 22 goals in 49 games at Under-23 level and came into the first-team picture earlier this year, making his Bundesliga debut against Augsburg. “The recruitment team have worked on Semir for a while,” said Tomasson. “He is a player who has been a late developer, he has scored some goals. “He is not a player who is used to the Championship, but he is a player who wants to become better. Hopefully, we can help him to become better.
We all know that playing at the Championship level is different if you have never done so.
“At the weekend, young Tom Bloxham played his first Championship minutes.” We know it’s a difficult league, one of the toughest in the world.
“Time will tell, but I know my players will work very hard to improve.”
The forward was ruled ineligible for Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Plymouth, but he will now have the opportunity to train with his new teammates over the international break ahead of back-to-back home games against Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
Rovers are also hopeful for the return of Niall Ennis and Arnor Sigurdsson after the break, albeit this will take time.
The latter to regain fitness after missing the full preseason.
