Aston Villa Interested in La Liga Attacker

Real Betis signed Ez Abde permanently from Barcelona on deadline day, but Aston Villa reportedly showed late interest in the forward.

Moussa Diaby was signed by Unai Emery’s team from Bayer Leverkusen during the recent transfer window.

However, the Premier League club was eager to make way for another attacker before the transfer deadline.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Villans displayed late interest in Abde before the transfer window closed.

Abde preferred to join Real Betis, though the Camp Nou club reserved their interest in the transaction via a buy-back provision.

Abde, 21, represents Morocco at the international level and was a summer target for Crystal Palace.

He is highly regarded, and Xavi Hernandez’s team may bring him back to Camp Nou at some point in the future.

Barcelona needed to balance the books this summer, which may have affected their decision to let the excellent forward go.

Pundit claims that Aston Villa has now made a signing that is even better than Mateo Kovacic.

Who was the summer’s top signing?

You’ll hear that question asked a lot in the coming days, and the truth is that we won’t know the answer for sure until the end of the current season.

Of course, it doesn’t stop supporters and analysts from discussing this subject before the first ball has even been kicked, and speaking on Premier League Productions, Clinton Morrison has already chosen his candidate for signing of the summer.

After Mateo Kovacic joined Manchester City, Morrison admits that he was tempted to go with him, but he eventually thinks that Moussa Diaby going to Aston Villa is the finest move that any team makes this transfer window.

At the signing of the summer, Morrison commented on Diaby.

The player is a challenging one. I could have suggested Kovacic since I adore him at Man City, but Diaby at Aston Villa is the player I advised you to keep an eye on. He can score goals, he’s quick, and he was a great acquisition for Bayer Leverkusen, according to Morrison.

Looking good
It remains to be seen if Diaby will turn out to be the summer’s best acquisition, but he is already showing a lot of promise.

He has an eye for goal and electrifying pace, as Morrison said, making him someone to keep an eye on for the rest of the season.

With the additions of Nicolo Zaniolo, Pau Torres, and Youri Tielemans, Aston Villa has made some terrific acquisitions this summer. However, as Morrison points out, Diaby may be the finest of the group.
