Nottingham Forest Ready To Pull Trigger On Bid But Player Not Sure On Switch
Nottingham Forest are ready to table a bid for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, but the player has reservations about joining the Midlands club.
PSV’s plan this summer has been to sell Sangare and raise funds from his departure, which could be used to strengthen their squad.
However, with less than two days left in the transfer window, the midfielder is still very part of the PSV squad.
Nottingham Forest have been chasing Sangare and they are still in the mix late in the transfer window, keen to sign him in the coming hours.
According to local Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, the Midlands club are prepared to offer €35m to sign the midfielder from PSV ahead of Friday’s deadline.
The figure is less than his €37.5m release clause but PSV are prepared to do business and let him go.
However, Nottingham Forest have work to do to convince the player to accept a move to the City Ground this summer.
Sangare has reservations about joining Nottingham Forest and he is not sure that it will be the right move for his career.
The midfielder is mulling over his future as PSV and Forest wait for the player to make up his mind in the coming hours.
