The brother may need to be more tight-lipped in future.

Jason Kelce has offered fans insight into when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may terminate his NFL career, which would be a significant shocker for the sport.

Kelce is currently prepping for the major AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills, so his brother’s comments won’t matter, but Jason was on late-night ESPN coverage and gave some insider information.

“I’m kinda torn. I wanna be there for the Eagles, I also wanna be there for my brother, I don’t know how many more he has,” Jason said on ‘They Call it Late Night.’

“So we’re kind of flying by the seat of our pants. We might be able to see both of us here again hopefully.”

Could Travis Kelce retire this season?

Travis’ career has been the subject of much speculation, including whether a loss to the Bills will be his final game. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been silent about the subject.

“I have no idea,” Mahomes told Kansas City radio station 96.5 FM. “He hasn’t said anything to me indicating that he is thinking that.

“I know he signed a two-year extension before the season and appears to still enjoy football, but he also has a wonderful life. In any case, I cherish every single time I go on the field with that guy, knowing he’s a true legend of not only the Chiefs, but the entire NFL. If this is his final game, let’s go out there and get him a victory. If this isn’t his last game, let’s go out and win nonetheless, right?”

The Chiefs are currently in contention for a third consecutive Super Bowl victory and fourth in five years, which would be an incredible accomplishment and perhaps the ideal time for Kelce to retire.
