All eyes are on the race to Super Bowl LIX, which features four teams remaining in the NFL playoffs: the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders.

As the NFL season winds down, the league has released the contenders for each major award, including Offensive Player of the Year.

The NFL’s official social media page has unveiled the five contenders for the OPOY award: Saquon Barkley, Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Derrick Henry, and Lamar Jackson.

Henry, who was in his debut season with the Ravens, had a fairly successful season given his age of 31 years. While many fans predicted Henry’s deterioration in Baltimore, he achieved some of his best statistics.

Henry was in his first season in Baltimore after spending eight years with the Tennessee Titans. During the Ravens’ season, the running back scored 16 touchdowns (first in the NFL) and gained 1,921 yards (second in the NFL) on 325 carries.

Henry helped the Ravens conclude the season 12-5, including a playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The star running back was greatly boosted by Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is a finalist for Offensive Player of the Year and NFL MVP.
