Sha’Carri Richardson looks to end season on high note in two events at the Diamond League Final in Brussels

The U.S., world, and Olympic champion will race in the women’s 100m and 200m events on 13 and 14 September.
Before Paris 2024, the American was undefeated in the 100 meters, and he was frustrated not to have won Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia. Despite taking first place in the Olympic 4x100m relay, the 24-year-old focused on finishing well and returned the following year prepared to defend her world championship.
Richardson will wrap up her season in Brussels on Friday, September 13, where she will compete in the women’s 100-meter event alongside Alfred, the current Olympic champion, whom she beat in their first post-Paris race in Zurich last month. The shortest track event at the Memorial Van Damme meeting is scheduled to feature Paris Olympians like as Cote d’Ivoire’s Marie-Jose Ta Lou-Smith and the British team of Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita, the 2019 world champions.
