The Wests Tigers are allegedly close to a deal with former Canberra Raiders halfback Aidan Sezer.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Benji Marshall and Tigers recruitment chief Scott Fulton clashed on the transfer, so it may not be a popular signing.

This week, the Tigers were connected to former Melbourne Storm playmaker Brodie Croft as they attempt to fill the vacuum left by the departure of Luke Brooks next season.

Croft, on the other hand, is thought to be looking for a long-term agreement, but Sezer is only looking for a short-term deal, making him a more appealing proposition for the Tigers.
