Everton transfers: Dyche wants to bring in a 61-goal Dutch attacker and will pay for him by offloading his undesirable strike pair.
Sean Dyche, the manager of Everton, is prepared to make another attempt to recruit Arnaut Danjuma, and the Toffees’ manager is hoping that his second attempt will be successful.
Even though the gravel-voiced manager just took over at Goodison with a few days remaining in the window, the Toffees manager was unable to strengthen his team during the January transfer window. He did, however, witness a planned signing of Danjuma fail toward the end of the month as Tottenham sprang in to seize the opportunity.
Danjuma went on to sign for Spurs on loan from Villarreal for the remainder of the season. However, after scoring just twice in 12 appearances, Tottenham have decided against making his signing a permanent one.
Danjuma is currently back in Spain, where Villarreal is attempting to make a profit off of the six-time international for the Netherlands.
And according to Daily Mail (July 1, page 105), Dyche is once again on the trail of Danjuma and is looking for second-chance good fortune.
The good news for Everton is that Villarreal appear willing to allow the 26-year-old leave on a season-long loan rather than charge a high transfer price for the top player valued at £25 million.
That will be perfect for Everton since Dyche will have to operate on a budget that is extremely constrained.
At the conclusion of their contracts, Andros Townsend, Yerry Mina, Asmir Begovic, and Tom Davies have all previously bid the Toffees farewell.
The Goodison Stadium cost-cutting initiatives are also still ongoing. As a result, Dyche might be obliged to sell Jordan Pickford, Amadou Onana, or Demarai Gray, three of his favorite possessions.
