Everton receives an injury boost ahead of the Arsenal game

This is a significant plus before a difficult challenge.

Even though Everton faces a difficult fight against Arsenal, Jarrad Branthwaite’s return from injury has given them a lift.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is almost ready to make a comeback, but Jack Harrison and Calvert-Lewin are still out injured.
The fact that Branthwaite is available is good for Everton because he might be an important player when facing Arsenal’s potent offensive lineup.
Everton will take on Arsenal this weekend in a challenging Premier League match, but they have received a much-needed injury boost ahead of the contest.

Who is currently out injured for Everton?

After two weeks without a match due to international football commitments, the Blues will resume domestic play on Sunday.

Sean Dyche’s team has had a difficult start to the season, earning only one point from their first four league games. On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal will visit Goodison Park, making things even more difficult for them.

Everton will undoubtedly have their job cut out for them when it comes to trying to secure a victory because Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are perhaps Manchester City’s biggest competitors in the hunt for the crown.

Jack Harrison, who joined the Blues on loan from Leeds United, is still absent, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also out with an injury but is getting closer to returning.

But since Dyche’s presser on Friday, one encouraging development has been made involving an Everton player.

Jarrad Branthwaite: Is he ready to take on Arsenal?
After recovering from an injury, Jarrad Branthwaite is eligible for selection to play against Arsenal this weekend, according to Liverpool World, which also includes remarks from Dyche about other people:

Due to a hip injury, Jack Harrison is yet to make his debut after joining on loan from Leeds United. The game is too soon, but the winger was seen earlier this week during team practice.

“During his pre-game press conference, Dyche said: “Dom should be clear and back on the grass. Jack Harrison is feeling excellent and is currently on the grass. Not Jack, who has just begun working with the crew on the lawn. literally just days of training with us. Dom has been able to maintain his fitness and will rejoin the team.

“Jarrad Branthwaite withdrew from England’s under-20 assignment due to a slight groin problem, but he is fine to play. Lewis Dobbin was injured and was unable to participate in the 2-2 draw at Sheffield United before the break.

Given the caliber of players Arsenal has, like Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and others, this is unquestionably good news for Everton ahead of a game in which they may have to defend for extended periods.

The 21-year-old Branthwaite just had a great season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, where he made 27 games in the Eredivisie and three in the Europa League, in addition to being praised as “complete” by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

It is unclear if Dyche would start the Englishman against Arsenal right away, but given that he played with James Tarkowski in Everton’s last match, a 2-2 draw away at Sheffield United, it makes sense to keep him in the lineup, providing he is deemed healthy enough.

In order to improve on his average of two tackles and interceptions per game in the Premier League this season, the young player will need to be at his absolute best when facing either Eddie Nketiah or Gabriel Jesus.
