Nottingham Forest have agreed to a striker transfer, and the terms of the agreement have been revealed.

The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news is that Emmanuel Dennis has agreed to join Jonjo Shelvey on loan in Turkey.

Emmanuel Dennis of Nottingham Forest is tackled by Connell Rawlinson of Notts County during the pre-season game at Meadow Lane.

According to reports, Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis has agreed to join Istanbul Başakşehir on loan.

The 25-year-old will join the Turkish club before the end of the summer transfer window on Friday (September 15). Two teams were interested in him, but one has since agreed to a deal with Forest.

That’s according to transfers expert Fabrizio Romano, who says Dennis’ new team have agreed a loan agreement, but do not have an option to buy the striker on a permanent basis. Dennis will soon travel to Turkey once closing details are finalised.

Romano posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “EXCL: İstanbul Başakşehir agree loan deal to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.

“Please understand that there is no buy option clause in the deal.” Final details are being finalized, and he will then proceed to Istanbul — here we go.”

Dennis joined Forest from Watford last summer in a reputed £10 million deal. In 19 Premier League games last season, he scored two goals and assisted on two more. So far this season, he has made no appearances.

The striker joins colleague Jonjo Shelvey in heading to Turkey. The center midfielder has agreed to a season-long loan with Caykur Rizespor. On December 2 and April 14, the two Forest loanees will face each other in Turkish league action.

Nottingham Forest’s final Premier League table is expected after the summer transfer window.
The newest Nottingham Forest news comes as bookmakers speculate on what the final Premier League table might look like in May 2024.

Nottingham Forest have made a remarkable start to the new Premier League season, especially given the difficult schedule they have encountered.

After defeating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, the Reds went into the first international break of the season on a high. Anthony Elanga’s goal in the 48th minute was enough to secure the victory.

With this outcome, Forest have won two and lost two of their first four league games, both at Arsenal and Manchester United.

As a result, Steve Cooper’s men are currently ninth in the Premier League table, a significant improvement on their 16th-place finish last season, when safety was ensured before the final game of the season.
