Aston Villa want to sign ‘spectacular’ winger and have already sent an offer to the player
The latest reports are suggesting that Aston Villa are wanting to sign an exciting prospect from Barcelona this summer.
According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Aston Villa are interested in Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli.
The report goes on to say that Abde has already ‘received offers’ from Villa, as well as Bayer Leverkusen. The player would be happy to stay at Barcelona.
Despite this, he apparently also wants to be playing more consistently as he believes he deserves more game time. He wants to evaluate where the best place for him to feature more.

Xavi has previously labelled the player ‘spectacular‘. He is clearly highly-rated, but at a club like Barcelona, it is always going to be hard for the 21 year-old to get more minutes.
He is also highly-rated by his country. For the Morocco U23’s the left winger has managed three goals in his four appearances.
It is definitely an exciting time to be an Aston Villa fan right now. They have made some top transfers and it looks like they have shown no signs of stopping,
It would be great to bring a highly-rated player with lots of potential and a high ceiling like Ezzalzouli. Not only would he improve the attacking depth now but he would also grown into a top player for the future.
It will definitely be very interesting to see if Villa can compete with Leverkusen for the player and if they manage to sign him this summer.
It could be a massive coup if they manage to sign the Barcelona prospect and it would help them compete as they battle for a European spot.

That’s according to Sport, who say Aston Villa are one of the clubs looking to potentially take advantage of the fact Barcelona need to sell before the end of the window.
The newspaper explain that the Blaugrana club need to release one of their attacker if they want to complete their squad in the last weeks of the transfer window and the Moroccan winger is one who could be moved on.
While Barcelona are satisfied with him and would prefer to see Ansu Fati depart, the latter’s refusal to do so is making it impossible and Abde has offers of the table.
Bayer Leverkusen are the team that is bidding the strongest and could present an offer close to €20m plus bonuses is Barcelona open the door for them to do so.
The German side are not the only interested party, though, and his entourage have been receiving interest and talking with various clubs, albeit on a low-key basis.
Aston Villa are one of the teams who have shown that they are ‘willing to bid’ for the winger but they would be in second place at this moment in time.
That being said, Leverkusen are at the front of the queue and if Abde says he wants to leave, they will make a definitive move, something the Villans need to be wary of if their interest is serious.

Aston Villa are very reluctant to sell young forward Cameron Archer this summer given his potential.
That’s according to journalist Dean Jones, who was speaking to Give Me Sport about the England Under-21 international.
After a stuttering start to the season, Aston Villa got their campaign back on track yesterday.
Unai Emery masterminded a 4-0 win over Everton at Villa Park as they dispatched a poor Toffees team.
Two goals either side of half-time meant that despite a big defeat at St. James’ Park last weekend, their goal difference is back to zero.
It was a worrying game for Everton though who looked very lacklustre throughout the match.
Villa manager Unai Emery turned to Colombian youngster Jhon Duran to replace Ollie Watkins yesterday.
The 19-year-old scored 50 seconds later, pouncing on a wayward throw-in from Ashley Young.
Cameron Archer was eventually introduced after Phillipe Coutinho picked up an injury.
Villa don’t want to sell Archer this summer but yesterday suggested he might have fallen down the pecking order.
He’s attracting interest from other clubs and would like to stay in the Premier League rather than move to the Championship again.

Speaking about the 21-year-old forward, Jones said: “Villa are very wary of letting him leave permanently because they know he has the potential to fly once he gets going.
“So, that’s always been the case, and if he was to go at some point, I would expect them to have something written in that gives them a priority on signing him again.
“But beyond that, I don’t know if they still want to let him leave permanently.”
The ‘brilliant’ forward is currently Ollie Watkins’s understudy and likely only came on after Duran because of the game situation.
Duran is rawer than Watkins and Emery probably only wanted to risk him in a game that was already over.
It’s understandable that Villa don’t want to sell Cameron Archer as he could have a huge future ahead of him.
However, another season sat on the bench at Villa Park won’t do his development any favours.
