Everton are unlikely to be derailed in their pursuit to sign Almeria forward El Bilal Toure this summer, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said, “He was able to return from the injury and score which bodes well for the recovery.

“If the club thought there was too much risk, he likely wouldn’t have been back especially with the summer coming up.

“Looking at his injury record – just two injuries on record – and this being the first one of any extended time, I don’t put too much credence into not signing him because of this injury so he should not face any medical issues.”

One can understand the extra need for due diligence by Everton, given their wretched injury record.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been their talisman for the past few seasons but in recent campaigns, his fitness has caused major issues.

Not having a reliable number nine and no ideal backup too, has seen the Toffees struggle for a talisman to find the back of the net.

While Bilal Toure is one among many names linked with the club, it seems like his past injury record should not stop him from being signed.

In Everton news, Alan Myers has shared a major update on Sean Dyche’s future after a development over his sacking has emerged over the past few days.
