    The Norway international has less than a year on his current deal with the Blades.

    His performances have seen him regularly linked with a move away from Bramall Lane as he has been one of Sheffield United’s best players in recent seasons.

  • He joined the club for a record £22million back in January 2020 and has racked up 109 appearances for them across the Premier League and Championship.

    Berge was a key part of Paul Heckingbottom’s team last season as they escaped the Championship and now Vincent Kompany is aiming to sign him from a likely rival for the year ahead.

    They have also submitted a £12million bid for Aston Villa youngster Aaron Ramsey

    Burnley are also looking to bolster their midfield by adding Aston Villa’s Aaron Ramsey to their ranks.

    The Clarets have tabled a £12m bid for the 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough and Norwich.

    They have strengthened in various positions throughout the transfer window but are yet to sign a central midfielder.

    Fabrizio Romano first broke the news that Burnley were in talks over a deal for Daramy last Thursday, with the transfer expert detailing that Vincent Kompany wants to sign the winger “at all costs”, making him one of his “top” targets.
