Burnley are in advanced talks to sign Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge for around £12m.
The Norway international has less than a year on his current deal with the Blades.
His performances have seen him regularly linked with a move away from Bramall Lane as he has been one of Sheffield United’s best players in recent seasons.
-
He joined the club for a record £22million back in January 2020 and has racked up 109 appearances for them across the Premier League and Championship.
Berge was a key part of Paul Heckingbottom’s team last season as they escaped the Championship and now Vincent Kompany is aiming to sign him from a likely rival for the year ahead.
