BYU basketball continues to strengthen its roster by securing commitments from top-tier talent. Notably, four-star forward Isaac Davis, a 6-foot-7 standout from Idaho’s Hillcrest High School, committed to BYU in April 2024. Davis led his team to consecutive Idaho 4A championships, averaging 17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game during his junior year. He chose BYU over offers from Oklahoma, Washington State, Utah State, UNLV, and VCU.

This commitment adds to BYU’s impressive recruiting class, which includes:

Kanon Catchings: A 6-foot-8 forward from Indiana, Catchings averaged 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game with Overtime Elite. He signed with BYU in May 2024, choosing the Cougars over Purdue and other programs.

Elijah Crawford: A point guard from New Hampshire, Crawford was named MaxPreps New Hampshire Player of the Year in 2024. He averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game, shooting 52.7% from the field and 48.8% from three-point range. Crawford committed to BYU in May 2024.

These strategic additions, under the guidance of head coach Kevin Young, position BYU for a competitive future in collegiate basketball.
