Florida State has secured a commitment from arguably one of the most productive offensive tackles in the 2025 portal class. Former Vanderbilt offensive lineman Gunnar Hansen is coming back to the state of Florida and finishing his career with FSU.

A rising senior, Hansen logged 35 starts in his three years at Vanderbilt. After the Commodores’ win over Alabama this season, he was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week and the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week.

Hansen is originally from Boca Raton and played his senior year of high school ball at St. Thomas Aquinas, where he won an FHSAA Class 7A state championship. Hansen’s visit to Florida State concluded on Monday.
