The New York Giants are facing a challenging season, currently holding a 2-12 record, which has intensified scrutiny on General Manager Joe Schoen and Head Coach Brian Daboll. Both were hired in 2022 with the expectation of revitalizing the franchise. Their initial season showed promise, including a playoff victory, but the team’s performance has since declined.

‘s struggles, there is no reported rift between Schoen and Daboll; they continue to collaborate closely. However, the possibility of retaining one while replacing the other is being considered. Fan dissatisfaction has become increasingly vocal, with public demonstrations calling for changes in leadership. A banner flown over a recent game read, “MR. MARA ENOUGH – WE WON’T STOP UNTIL YOU FIRE EVERYONE,” reflecting the growing frustration among the fan base.

 

As the season progresses, Giants co-owner John Mara faces critical decisions regarding the team’s direction. The possibility of separating the fates of Schoen and Daboll is under consideration, with the aim of restoring the Giants to a competitive standing in the NFL.
