Clemson football signing day updates: Recruiting rankings, best players in 2025 class
CLEMSON — Most of Clemson football’s 2025 class was signed before 9 a.m. on early signing day.
Fourteen of the Tigers’ verbal commits signed agreements to join Tigers coach Dabo Swinney’s class. The final member was three-star safety Jakarrion Kenan, who committed and signed his agreement at 3 p.m.
This year’s cycle is headlined by four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams, Clemson’s top prospect. The Tigers also added two players who could provide an instant impact next season with four-star offensive lineman Brayden Jacobs and four-star running back Gideon Davidson.
Clemson football recruiting suffered an unprecedent seven decommitments this cycle. Its class ranks No. 26, according to 247Sports Composite rankings, and has six four-star recruits and nine three-stars.

A former Coastal Carolina commit, Denson flipped to Clemson in November. In his senior season, he led his team to a 9-3 record as, completing 65.4% of his passes and throwing for 2,334 yards and 28 touchdown passes and three interceptions. He also rushed for 1,159 rushing yards on 113 carries.
In his senior season, Davidson has rushed for 2,054 yards and 34 touchdowns on 223 carries with his 2024 year still going. He has exceeded 2,000 yards rushing for the second straight season.
Davidson earned all-district and all-region honors in all four years of his high school career. He also received all-state distinction as a sophomore and junior with his senior-season teams still pending. In his career, he has amassed 7,438 rushing yards and 118 rushing touchdowns on 701 carries. He also recorded 606 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 43 career catches.
Henderson, who holds his high school career rushing record with 6,369 yards and counting, is the first running back to sign with Clemson. Entering early signing day, he is nearing 8,000 all-purpose yards over 47 career games, and his team is still in the state playoffs this season.
In his senior season, Henderson has rushed for 1,775 yards and 23 touchdowns on 148 carries. He has logged nine 100-yard rushing games in 2024 too. He is a four-year starter who was named all-state as a junior in 2023 with all-state teams for 2024 still pending.
Henderson is labeled as an “all-purpose athlete,” meaning he could play at other positions with Clemson.
Preston is the all-time receiving touchdown leader in Virginia state history with 67. He also recorded 185 receptions for 3,700 yards in his high school career. He played in five games in his senior season, logging 27 catches for 501 yards and eight touchdowns.
Brooking recorded 84 catches for 1,206 yards and six touchdowns in 47 high school games. In his senior season, he had 21 catches for 289 yards and two touchdowns. He also was a two-way player, logging 189 career tackles.
