Think again if you believed that curling was limited to the Winter Olympics on TV. A match between the best men’s and women’s club curling teams in the United States and Canada will be broadcast on television in the United States for the first time.

The Sports Network (TSN) in Canada and CBS Sports Network in the United States will both broadcast the Everest North American Curling Club Championships on Tuesday and Wednesday. There are continental bragging rights up for grabs in this inaugural international encounter. “Aside from the Olympics, this is the first time a curling event has been broadcast live across North America,” Team USA men’s skip Ryan Berg told the news site The Forum of Fargo-Morehead. “It means a lot to me to be able to wear the U.S. flag on my back, it has always been a dream of mine, so to have that come true is fun.”
